Instruments (head jig)

An optional version of the Centering Device comes with the arc: this is fixed on the lateral femur side and connected with the clamp. It is mainly for surgeons coming from the BHR.

Steps in use of the device maybe summarised:

  1. Smallest neck diameter is defined.
  2. The right stopper is inserted
  3. The clamp is put around the largest neck diameter
  4. The stopper gives a 3rd point of reference at the smallest neck diameter
  5. Kirschner wire facilitates definition of neck angles
  6. alternative: arc facilitates definition of the neck angles
