A complete range of courses and educational events are available to fulfil the needs of surgeons throughout their professional career. Instructional courses focus on the development of fundamental skills of surgery, while Masterclasses deal with more advanced principles and techniques. Hands-on Surgical Skills workshops, utilising anatomical specimens are provided to enhance practical skills along with discussion on advanced procedures and techniques. Surgeon to Surgeon visits also play a key role in the practical demonstration of surgery and can be arranged in a network of Hospitals around the world. The so called Interactions Meetings are directed towards the highest level of education, drawing on the expertise of an experienced and international faculty.

Bioskills
Zimmer also offer a range of cadaveric specimen based courses, designed for experienced consultants needing to enhance their range of practical skills in a much more realistic operational setting. Delegates benefit from direct interaction with very experienced faculty, learning and developing challenging techniques.
The Zimmer Institute|BioSkills Training highly values the commitment our participants make to attend training. We understand that time spent away from patients, family, and practice is a major investment. To maximise this, BioSkills Training offers single day courses with highly experienced surgeon facilitators, top notch training facilities at convenient regional locations, and knowledgeable/helpful staff. During the course of the day our participants will experience a comprehensive interactive lecture, hands-on-training through a facilitator lead demonstration, the ability to assist another surgeon on the procedure, and the opportunity to perform the procedure using anatomical material.
