The Zimmer Institute is pleased to present the Medical Education
Calendar for 2010.
The courses are designed to be interactive, specifically addressing the needs of surgeons wanting to advance their skills and product knowledge. Delegates will have the opportunity to experience the instruments in hands on sessions, with guidance and instruction from experienced faculty.

Revision Knee Masterclass, March and May
Advanced course on Revision Knees, to cover principles, planning, solutions, problem case discussion, use of Trabecular Metal Augments and cones for reconstruction. Key products are LCCK, RHK and Segmental Knee.
Shoulder Masterclass, March
Primary, Reverse, Fracture and Trabecular Metal in the Anatomical Shoulder System.
Arthroplasty Instructional Course, April
Instructional Course covering the fundamentals of hip and knee replacement. Delegates have opportunity to workshop the techniques and cover fundamental principles, biomechanics, operative techniques and soft tissue approach.
Revision Hip Masterclass, April and September
Advanced Revision Course covering principles, approaches, planning, hands on workshops with ZMR and TMARS (Trabecular Metal).
Trauma Locking Plates Instructional Course, July
Dealing with the fundamentals of trauma treatment using Locking Plates. Also covers the advanced NCB system and includes problem solving in workshops.
Interactions, October
All aspects of hip and knee replacement, including latest developments, advanced techniques and materials.
Nailing Instructional Course, June
Instructional course for those wishing to find out about fundamental techniques and practice, using the Zimmer Natural Nail.

*The registration fee is strongly subsidised by the Zimmer Institute. Included in the fee are all costs directly associated with the event, from accommodation and official course meals to the costs of running the educational programme, (facilities, supplied literature, saw bones, instruments and powertools where appropriate). For Specialist Registrars and Fellows this fee is refundable at the end of the event upon completion of the course.
